MQP girls on the run
Two MQP employees recently took part in a gruelling Wolf Run in aid of MPQ's chosen charity, Rainbows Hospice. Ceara Fairbrother and Steph Grant took part in the 10k Wolf Run in Leamington Spa, which featured a series of tough man made and natural obstacles located throughout the course, designed to test their mental and physical strength, skill and stamina.
Running and finishing together, Ceara and Steph took part in mud runs, trail runs, swimming and obstacle runs, completing the demanding course in 2 hours and 20 minutes and raising over £1,000 for Rainbows.
Speaking just after the event, Ceara, who works as a Transport Planner at MQP's head office in Whitwick said: "We helped each other throughout the course and it was really nice to finish together. It was great fun and we will definitely do it again."
Kate Golding, Head of Organisational Giving at Rainbow Hospice said: “We are very grateful for this wonderful support and for the hard work that Ceara and Steph have put into their training as well as fundraising. Sounds like a really tough challenge; we will make sure that the money they have raised is put to good use to help the children and young people who rely on Rainbows.”
